Taressa currently writes from the summit of Kilauea on Big Island where she lives with her husband, two dogs, one feral chicken, and an imaginary cat. Her work has appeared in many online publications including: The Power of Poetry, Middle-Pause, and The Daily Cuppa and her poem "Sonnets in the Round - for my granddaughters" won sixth place and appeared in the 2022 poetry anthology "Butterfly Dance" published by The Lark.
